From Celebrity Baby Scoop: 5 Celebrity Moms with all Daughters

Girl power!

Last time, our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop brought us 5 celebrity moms with a brood of boys. Now they are highlighting famous families with all girls in the mix.

Continue reading about 5 celebrity moms who have plenty of female energy in the house.

Jessica Alba:

Sin City star Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren are parents to two daughters: Honor, 5, and Haven, 2.

“Every day with my girls is a dream and just hanging out with them is the best thing ever,” Jessica gushed to Celebrity Baby Scoop.

The eco-friendly mama added: “We do a lot of DIY crafts like using cardboard boxes to make airplanes and dollhouses—our creative playtime together similarly shows the girls about repurposing old items.”

Denise Richards:

Twisted star Denise Richards and ex-husband Charlie Sheen are parents to two girls: Sam, 10, and Lola, 8.

The actress adopted a third daughter, Eloise, as a single parent in June 2011.

“I’m definitely a hands-on mom,” Denise has said. “For me it’s about priorities, and my girls always come first. I look at it as having a harmonious house more than balancing – it’s never quite balanced!”

Demi Moore:

Ghost actress Demi Moore and ex-husband Bruce Willis are parents to three daughters: Rumer, 25, Scout, 22, and Tallulah, 20.

The Charlie’s Angels star actress admits that she constantly asks herself if she’s a good mother.

“There is no job in our life that you want less to make a mistake with,” she told E! News of motherhood. “And it is inevitable. The pain of that is deeper and more enormous than anything you could grasp because you spend most of your life as a mother wanting to save them from any pain at all. So to have to look at yourself as being the cause of their pain is excruciating.”

Alyson Hannigan:

How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan and husband, actor Alexis Denisof, are parents to two daughters: Satyana, 5, and Keeva, nearly 2.

The actress recently gushed to Celebrity Baby Scoop about the joys of motherhood.

“Being a mom is simply the best thing I have ever done,” she shared. “My kids make me laugh and smile every day.”

“Satyana is very into dressing herself and everything has to be bright pink or purple,” Alyson added of her girly-girl. “If it glows or is shiny that is even better. If you need sunglasses to look at her outfit, you know that’s a good outfit. Her choices are not always the fashion choices I would make, but they always make me smile!”

As for Keeva, it sounds like she’s Sati’s biggest fan.

“Keeva really wants to be like her big sister and follows Sati around — she’s always watching her,” Alyson shared. “At this point, they really get along and love being together which is great.”

Melanie Brown:

Girl power, indeed!

Spice Girls star Mel B, a.k.a. Scary Spice, is mom to four daughters: Phoenix, 15, Angel, 6, Madison, 2, and stepdaughter Giselle, 8.

“I do want a boy,” she revealed shortly after welcoming Madison. “But I’m enjoying my girls and my baby. She’s about to start crawling in Sydney and I’m like, ‘Don’t let her move until I get back!’ It would be nice to have a son, but it wouldn’t be straightaway.”

“The gap between Madison and Angel works brilliantly,” she continued. “I’ve just had them all on Skype and Phoenix is holding Madison and Angel’s playing with Phoenix’s hair. It’s beautiful.”

From Celebrity Baby Scoop: 5 Celebrity Moms With a Brood of Boys

image

Aren’t little guys the cutest? Our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop recently took at some celebrities with broods of boys.

With the recent arrival of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s third son – Apollo Bowie Flynn – let’s take a look at four more Hollywood moms whom have all boys in their brood.

Gwen Stefani:

Rocker couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale welcomed their third son - Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale – on February 28, 2014.

In January, the Cool singer – already mom to sons Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 5 – revealed that she was expecting another boy. Wearing a blue shirt and crown, Gwen captioned an Instagram photo: “I was ready to hand over the crown. But I guess I am still queen of the house. #itsaboy #surroundedbyboys.”

In 2010, the No Doubt frontwoman admitted that her brood of boys is a bit “weird.”

“I mean, it does seem weird that I don’t have a girl, but I feel like I’m running out of time,” Gwen shared. “I also don’t want to spread myself so thin that I can’t even be good for them… Poor Zuma, he’d be the middle guy. I’m not focusing on it right now, but it’s not up to me anyway, you know? These things are miracles, so we’ll see. Otherwise, the clothes are probably going to go to some girlfriend of Kingston’s!”

Melissa Joan Hart:

Sabrina, The Teenage Witch star Melissa Joan Hart and husband, musician Mark Wilkerson, are parents to three boys: Mason, 8, Brady, 6, and Tucker, 18 months.

“I was actually relieved it was a boy,” Melissa told Celebrity Baby Scoop.

She added: “It makes life a little easier. I wasn’t prepared for the ‘girly’ toys and accessories. I couldn’t be more happy with the family I have surrounding me but I’m not ready to say I’m done having kids just yet.”

Cate Blanchett:

Two-time Academy Award-winning actress Cate Blanchett and husband, screenwriter Andrew Upton, have three sons: Dashiell, 12, Roman nearly 10, and Ignatius, nearly 6.

“Having boys is great,” the Elizabeth star said. “It’s a neat position to be in and I love the high energy that comes along in raising boys. It’s fun.”

Julie Bowen:

Modern Family star Julie Bowen and husband Scott Phillips are proud parents to three sons: Oliver, nearly 7, and 4 1/2-year-old twins John and Gus.

What’s life like in her all-boy household?

“I have three boys, so my house is … rowdy!” she joked with Celebrity Baby Scoop.

She added: “They are close in age, so they really do like playing with one another, and so far, get along very well. I hope that continues.”

Britney Spears:

While she loves her boys, pop superstar Britney Spears says she’d love to give her sons —Sean Preston, 8, and Jayden James, 7 — a baby sister.

“I would like to be busy the first couple of years, but then I would really like to have another baby, a girl,” Britney admitted.

She added: “I think she would be like a mini-me. I think it’s going to be crazy. I’m not going to feel as alone in the world anymore. I’m going to feel like I have a second person, like, that’s me.”

10 Adoptions In Hollywood

From our friends at CelebrityBabyScoop.com

Thanks to A-list couples like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Hollywood has put adoption in the spotlight.

In celebration of National Adoption Day on November 23, we’re taking a look at 10 high-profile adoptive parents such as Hugh Jackman, Mariska Hargitay and Sandra Bullock.

Jillian Michaels:

The Biggest Loser star Jillian Michaels and her partner Heidi Rhoades became parents to two children in May: A 2-year-old daughter Lukensia and a newborn son Phoenix.

“About three and a half years ago I began dating my partner Heidi,” Jillian shared on her road toward motherhood. “We had a very easy going, comfortable and no-pressure relationship. And a year or so into our relationship, I decided I want to adopt.”

The celebrity trainer went on to say the adoption process was not easy, and after a year and a half of waiting for a referral from Africa, she switched gears.

“I switched all my paperwork over to Haiti and I get a phone call one day,” she shared. “Heidi is now trying to get pregnant for five months now. They say, ‘We have a referral for you,’ which means they’ve matched you with a child. I was like, ‘This is unbelievable, this is great!’ I come home and tell Heidi, and in less than 24 hours she says, ‘By the way, I’m pregnant.’ ”

Charlize Theron:

Academy Award-winning actress Charlize Theron shocked fans with her baby news in March. The actress adopted a baby boy named Jackson.

Charlize opened up about a letter she wrote at 8-years-old, sharing her plans for a future adoption.

“My mother found [it]. It said, ‘Would you please take me to orphanage, so that I can go and adopt a baby?’ I always knew I would adopt – always,” she shared.

Sandra Bullock:

Not only did Sandra Bullock become an Academy Award-winner in 2010, she also become a mom. The Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close actress adopted a New Orleans-born boy, Louis, in January 2010.

Now 3-years-old, Louis has become Sandra’s greatest joy. “He’s just perfect, I can’t even describe him any other way,” she gushed.

Sandra opened up about the first time she laid eyes on her gorgeous son.

“The first time I met Louis, it was like the whole outside world got quiet,” she said. “It was like he had always been a part of our lives. All I said when I met him was, ‘Oh, there you are.’”

The Little Couple:

The Little Couple’s Dr. Jen Arnold and Bill Klein introduced their 3-year-old son William on the Katie Couric show in April. And just one month later, they had more exciting news to report.

After years of hoping to become parents and suffering through fertility issues, the couple announced they adopted a 19-month-old girl from India they have named Zoey.

“We’re so delighted that Zoey will be joining our family and that William will have a little sister coming home very soon,” the reality TV couple said in a statement in May.

Zoey also has a form of dwarfism like her adoptive parents and brother Will.

“We’ve dealt with prejudice and many challenges,” Jennifer said of her life experiences. “I feel very lucky and fortunate that I have the wonderful life I have.”

Sheryl Crow:

A year after being diagnosed with breast cancer, Sheryl Crow adopted her now 6-year-old son, Wyatt. The songstress said she always knew she’d be a mom.

“There was a shift in my life when I got diagnosed, [with breast cancer] because it demanded I look at everything and redefine my life,” she said. “I always felt I would be a mom. I have strong maternal instincts.”

The singer went on to adopt a second son, now 3-year-old son Levi.

“I’ve always had maternal instincts,” she said. “And there are so many different ways you can go about that. My sons didn’t have to be from me. They didn’t have to look like me. I just wanted children to love.”

“They have so much energy and they keep me young!” Sheryl recently told Celebrity Baby Scoop. “I wouldn’t change a thing. I love getting to see things through their eyes.”

Madonna:

The Queen of Pop has adopted two children from Malawi – David, now 8, and Mercy, now 6 – and has since spoken about the experience.

“This was an eye opening experience” and “a real low point in my life,” the Like a Virgin singer said of adopting David.

“I didn’t know that trying to adopt a child was going to land me in another sh– storm,” she added. “I was accused of kidnapping, child trafficking, using my celebrity muscle to jump ahead in the line, bribing government officials, witchcraft, you name it. I could get my head around people giving me a hard time for simulating masturbation onstage or publishing my Sex book, even kissing Britney Spears at an awards show, but trying to save a child’s life was not something I thought I would be punished for… In any case, I got through it. I survived.”

The Material Mom was more prepared for her second adoption.

“When I adopted Mercy James, I put my armor on,” the popstar said. “I tried to be more prepared. I braced myself. This time I was accused by a female Malawian judge that because I was divorced, I was an unfit mother. I fought the supreme court and I won. It took almost another year and many lawyers. I still got the shit kicked out of me, but it didn’t hurt as much. And looking back, I do not regret one moment of the fight.”

Hugh Jackman:

Hugh Jackman is happiest, “being with my family, definitely, without a doubt.”

The sexy Wolverine star and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, have two adopted children Oscar, 13, and Ava, 8. The hands-on dad said it was a “no-brainer” for them to adopt children in need.

“When we went first to talk to someone in Los Angeles about adoption, I remember, they said, ‘What do you want?’ I said, ‘Well, healthy would be good.’ And they said, ‘Well, what about the race?’ We’d ticked mixed race. And he said, ‘Now, listen. Please don’t, please don’t just tick that because you think it’s the right thing to tick.’ And he said to me, that we turn away children every month who are mixed race, because we can’t find families for them.”

He’s also spoken of the joys of adoption.

“A while back, there was a lot of shame attached to it and parents wouldn’t tell their kids they were adopted,” he said. “What’s great is that the focus is now shifting to the care of the child. We were very fortunate and open – I can’t go into details because of the privacy of the birth parents, but I can tell you it was amicable. Adoption is a wonderful thing to do.”

“I’m working with Americans to create an international campaign to shine a light on the fact that there are 153 million orphans in the world,” the actor recently said. “If that were a country, it would be the ninth-largest in the world, just ahead of Russia.”

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie:

A-listers Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are parents to six children: Maddox, 12, Pax, 9, Zahara, 8, Shiloh, 7, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 5.

Their three eldest children were adopted from Cambodia, Vietnam and Ethiopia — although, Angie said she’s lost track of the details. “I couldn’t tell you in my own home who’s adopted and who’s not,” Angelina recently said.

“It doesn’t cross my mind,” she added. “There is something really wonderful when you adopt a child from another country because that whole country enters your house. We have different languages in our house, we have different flags up in our house, we have different food and culture and discussions and we go to their countries.”

The Oscar-winner wants her children to one day give back to their homelands.

“They have programs in their countries [for] each of them we’re starting. There’s a TB/AIDS clinic being built for Zahara; there’s a clinic already for Mad[dox]. So each of them will take that responsibility. They are from their country and they are of their country and they should know that, it’s part of their family, we are their family but so is their country.”

Mariska Hargitay:

Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay and her husband Peter Hermann endured a long and emotionally challenging journey to finally reach their beautiful family of five and now, things couldn’t be better for the happy couple.

“They’re awesome and perfect,” the star said of sons August, 7, and Andrew, 2, and daughter Amaya, 2. “My heart just keeps getting bigger and bigger.”

The actress opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about her surprising second adoption.

Just months after bringing home daughter Amaya after an emotionally trying adoption process, the couple’s lawyer called them to let them know an agency had a newborn boy ready to be adopted as well.

“It was one of those things that we were not expecting at all and my husband and I looked at each other and have never been more sure about anything,” the actress tearfully recalls about their decision to bring home baby Andrew. “This has been a year of true blessings.”

Katherine Heigl & Josh Kelley:

Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl and her husband Josh Kelley adopted their daughter Naleigh from Korea when she was 10-months-old.

“[Adoption has] been a big part of my life and my family,” Katherine said. “My sister is Korean and my parents adopted her back in the 70s and so I just always knew that this is something I wanted to do.”

Katherine went on to talk about her now 4-year-old daughter.

“She is a special needs baby and because of that it all moved so much faster. They wanted to get her to us as quickly as possible.”

The couple went on to adopt a second daughter, Adalaide, domestically in April. “She’s great! She’s a delicious, beautiful, wonderful child,” the Grey’s Anatomy alum gushed of her new daughter.

Ian Ziering: “As A Father, I Put Myself Last”

Ian Ziering is the top ‘Celebri-Daddy’ in Hollywood! DaddyScrubs, the renowned line of “I’m the Daddy” apparel and gifts for expectant dads, recently chose the actor and father-of-two as their celebrity spokesperson and ‘Daddy of the Year 2013.’ This title “recognizes fathers who are very proactive in raising their kids.”

Our friends at CelebrityBabyScoop  chat with Ian about how he hopes to inspire other fathers as ‘Daddy of the Year 2013,’ how his daughters- 2-year-old Mia (who sure looks like she’s enjoying her ride on the Prince Lionheart wheelyBUG!), and Penna, 4 months- are doing, and whether Mia is into the ‘Terrible Twos’ now.

CBS: Tell us about being named DaddyScrubs Daddy of the Year 2013 and celebrity spokesperson. What do you love about their products? What are some of your favorite DaddyScrubs products?

IZ: “’DaddyScrubs bestowed the ‘Daddy of the Year 2013’ distinction on me, and I am very proud of it. The title recognizes fathers who are very proactive in raising their kids. I read to my daughter, Mia, every night and we sing songs before bed. I am also the first one to get Mia out of bed in the morning, and I love making breakfast with her. I have taken all of the cues that I picked up from my own childhood with my father. I am very flattered for the distinction, but it’s really a compliment to my own dad. I am happy to follow in his footsteps.

What I love about DaddyScrubs is that they help fathers become more engaged in the process. The actual DaddyScrubs say ‘I’m The Daddy!’ on the back, and when I wore them in the delivery room, everyone had a big smile on their face. The scrubs really helped raise awareness and make me feel more a part of the whole delivery experience. Usually, dads in the delivery room feel like they are just there for emotional support…being there in my scrubs with my wife really added another layer of involvement that was very fulfilling.

Since then, the DaddyScrubs brand has grown into more of a lifestyle brand; they started with the DaddyScrubs scrubs and they’ve grown to include books, apparel, and gifts that help fathers interact with their kids more. It promotes healthy lifestyles for dads and their children.”

CBS: How do you hope to inspire other fathers?

IZ: “I believe you have to be very present in your children’s development. DaddyScrubs’ ‘Daddy of the Year 2013’ distinction was not something I set out to achieve; it was given to me, and because there is a little spotlight on me, I plan to encourage fathers to do things that they might not think of doing on their own. One of the most important things parents should do is spend time with their kids, and reading to them is also very important. My daughter Mia has had the same bedtime regimen since she was born—she goes up to be bathed or showered at 7:00 or 7:30 p.m., and then we go to the bedroom for story time. We sit in the rocking chair and I read to her, and then I put her to bed. I have been doing that with Mia, and Erin has been taking care of Penna. Penna is only 4 months old right now and goes to bed at 5:00 and sleeps until 8, but when she is older I plan to start a routine of involvement with her, as that is very important to me.

I think DaddyScrubs is doing a great job of encouraging parents to start that healthy routine with their kids. Parents need to promote healthy, good habits like brushing their teeth, and they also need to read to their kids and be present as much as they can. I think life sometimes gets in the way, and as a father, you’re also a provider so sometimes work gets in the way. However, every cellphone these days has a camera on it, so I am able to speak to my kids whenever I am traveling. I talk to my children every day with this application that allows me to see and talk to them at the same time. It’s all about embracing new technology that keeps the family together. Having breakfast and dinner together is also very important. To me, the kitchen is the most important room of the house, and dinnertime is a time where my entire family came together no matter what we were all doing during the day. Come 6:00 p.m., we were all sitting around the dinner table laughing, telling stories about the day, and enjoying each other’s company. I think that’s so important.”

CBS: Congratulations on the arrival of your daughter Penna! How is she doing? What kind of baby is she? Are you getting any sleep? How did you come up with her name?

IZ: “Penna is such a good baby! She doesn’t cry very much, she sleeps a lot, and she’s very alert and playful. She also makes these giggly noises that always make me smile. She was named after my father, Paul, and my first daughter, Mia, was named after my mom, Micky.

In regard to whether I am getting any sleep, my wife Erin does most of the heavy lifting at night, since we are not bottle-feeding. There is not much I can do in that aspect, but I would be happy to do something if I could. However, I am not too upset that Erin is the one getting up a couple of times a night to nurse Penna.” [laughs]

CBS: Were you shocked that Penna arrived on your daughter Mias 2nd birthday?

IZ: “Yes. Mia was a week late and Penna ended up being a week early. Both children were induced; Mia was growing and we didn’t want her to be too big for delivery. Erin went to the doctor’s a week before Penna’s delivery date, and the doctor was concerned that there was a diminished amount of amniotic fluid and the baby hadn’t put on any weight since the previous office visit. Since we were past the threshold, the doctor felt that it was best to have the baby on that day. It was very serendipitous that it was the same day as my Mia was born.

Both of our daughters were born at Cedar-Sinai in Los Angeles. It’s funny, because when I walked out of the hospital with my first daughter, Mia, everyone on the way out of the elevator said, ‘Okay, we’ll see you in two years!’ Two years to the day I was back there! Again, when I walked out of the hospital with Penna, everyone said, ‘Okay, we will see you in two years!‘ It must be some joke that they have there, but it worked out that way. I said, ‘I am going to let the paint dry on this art work before I decide to hang any more art.’” [laughs]

CBS: How is Mia doing? What is she into these days? Into the Terrible Twos at all? What does she do to make you laugh?

IZ: “Mia is in preschool and totally loves it. Sometimes when parents drop their kids off at school, they don’t want to leave. However, that’s not the case with Mia; she runs into the school as soon as the door opens. We have to make sure we get our kisses and ‘good-byes’ before we open the car door! [laughs] Mia is very outgoing and is making a lot of new friends. Mia also likes to tell us what she did in school that day, which is so rare. My parents used to ask me, ‘Ian, what did you learn today?’ and I would respond with, ‘Oh, nothing.’ [laughs] Mia will tell me, “We did artwork today, had song today, and Jack, Henry, and I played together and went on the swings.’ She’s very conversational and loves tutus and tea parties. [laughs]

In regard to whether she is into the ‘Terrible Twos,’ she certainly has her moments as every child does. However, I think it is to be expected, and because it is to be expected, it defers my judgment and increases my patience. If she is whining, there’s usually a reason for it, like she might be hungry or tired. Finding out the reason why she’s doing it might be challenging, but that’s part of the fun of being a dad. Like I said, sometimes it can be challenging, but, ultimately, it is a learning process for us both. It’s such a beautiful journey.

Mia makes me laugh by playing Hide-and-Seek, Peek-A-Boo, and tickling me. She likes to tickle my feet, my neck, and she thinks I am ticklish wherever there is skin exposed. Of course, she thinks this because I react with an overwhelming laugh whenever she does it. She always says, ‘Tickle, Tickle, Tickle Tickle!’ and I know she is coming after to tickle me.”

CBS: How has fatherhood changed you? Please share some of your cherished fatherhood memories/moments.

IZ: “It has changed me so much. As a father, I put myself last and I don’t even consider my needs at all. My initial focus is making sure my wife and children have everything. As a single person, I was a little more selfish. Having other people in your life that you have to provide for makes you more selfless. No stone goes unturned; I want to do everything I can do maintain the lifestyle that I’ve become accustomed to, but I also want to improve it and make it better for them. Now I seem to work even harder to make sure they have everything they need, and it’s made me more persistent and determined to be successful. The result is the payback, and the payback is in joy.

One cherished family moment was when my daughter Penna was born. Moments after she was born and weighed, they put her into my arms and I looked at her and gave her a kiss on her cheek. I said, ‘Baby, I gave you your first kiss ever.’ The first kiss on her cheek was such a great moment and something I will remember forever…it was amazing to hold her, this brand new baby who was moments old, and give her a kiss on the cheek. It was a very emotional moment that brought tears of joy.”

CBS: Are you hoping to try for baby No. 3? Would you like to try for a boy? Or do you love having a house full of girls?

IZ: “Erin and I both come from families of three siblings, and I think we would like to have another child. I don’t know whether we will or not, but I know there is plenty of love in both of our hearts to have many more kids. We both really love this experience and, honestly, if my wife wasn’t such an amazing mother and wife, I wouldn’t have considered marrying her in the first place. Because she is all those things, I would definitely do it again. Whether we will have another child or not, time will tell.”

Rising Stars: 5 Celebrity Kids Enter Showbiz

It’s always nice when kids follow in the steps of their parents, and it’s pretty interesting when those steps are down the path of stardom. With the recent news that Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith‘s daughter Dakota Johnson, 23, will star as Anastasia Steele in the much anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, our friends at CelebrityBabyScoop  are taking a look at 5 celebrities and their very own rising stars.

If you were in show business, would you want your children to follow in your footsteps? Check out which celeb parents have encouraged their children to enter the wild world of fame and fortune.

Melanie Griffith:

Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson’s daughter Dakota Johnson, 23, followed family tradition by becoming an actress.

Her grandmother, Tippi Hedren, was one of Hitchcock’s cool blondes and starred in Marnie and The Birds, and her mom was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in Working Girl.

And just like her famous mom, Dakota was a Miss Golden Globe.

But on Monday, author E L James Tweeted, “I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Dakota is a model-turned-actress who has been seen in The Social Network and the short-lived sitcom Ben and Kate.

Andie MacDowell:

St. Elmo’s Fire actress Andie MacDowell and ex-husband Paul Qualley are parents to three kids: Justin, 27, Rainey, 24, and Sarah Margaret, 18.

While Justin lives in Montana and training to be an English teacher, her two daughters are breaking into the business.

The youngest – just known as Margaret – is a model.

“Wherever she ends up, I know I’ll never have to worry about her,” Andiesaid of her youngest child. “I let her move to New York City alone aged 16, because I knew it was right for her. She’s just a really good kid. I think it’s partly the discipline from dancing and partly her personality, but I’ve never had to tell her to do her homework and never had to worry about her getting in trouble.”

She added: “She’s so reliable and motivated. She’s really got her head screwed on.”

Meanwhile, Rainey bestowed the title of Miss Golden Globe in 2012, and has starred in Mighty Fine, Falcon Song and Mothers Day.

Will Smith:

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith are all-for their kids entering the family business. Both of their children – son Jaden, 15, and daughter Willow, 12 – have graced the big screen.

Jaden costarred with his father in The Pursuit of Happyness, appeared alongside Keanu Reeves in The Day the Earth Stood Still, and starred in the remake of the Karate Kid. Willow made her acting debut alongside her papa in I Am Legend and later lit up the big screen in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl.

So what does Will think of his kids entering the family business?

“She has a drive. She has an energy and she just connects to human emotion,” Will said of his daughter. “I think a big part was probably [seeing] Jaden after The Pursuit of Happyness. She saw what Jaden did, and she was like, ‘I want that,’” Will added. “Jaden is [like] Johnny Depp. He just wants to do good work … He loves acting, he just wants to make good movies,” Will said and joked, “and Willow is Paris Hilton. Willow wants to be on TV.”

Will has also addressed his kids’ fame and fortune.

“It may seem like we have pushed our kids into the business, but that is absolutely insane,” he said. “I would never, ever, push somebody to have their face on a poster that’s going be everywhere in the world. He is making a choice from the informed. It’s less scary to me than if he wanted to be a dentist in that I couldn’t help with what he’d chosen. I have relationships with some of the biggest filmmakers and actors and producers on Earth. So I can be a huge help.”

Candace Cameron Bure:

When Full House star Candace Cameron Bure sat down with Celebrity Baby Scoop, the busy mother of three said that her daughter Natasha has caught the acting bug while her son Maks hopes to be a hockey star just like papa Valeri Bure.

“Our kids are making that choice for themselves, and it seems they are following in both our footsteps,” she said. “My daughter wants to act, and we’re allowing her to audition. My son Lev wants to be a tennis player, and Maks wants to be a hockey player. They’re all pretty determined and focused to pursue those goals.”

She added: “We’re supportive of whatever they choose to do, as long as they work hard and put all their effort into it and not quit when it gets rough.”

Bruce Willis:

Bruce Willis has three daughters - Rumer, 25, Scout, 22, and Tallulah, 19 – with ex-wife Demi Moore. Bruce has talked about his eldest daughter Rumer who has acted in films such as Now and Then and Striptease and TV shows such as 90210 and Sorority Row.

Turns out Bruce not only supports Rumer’s acting career, he also thinks she’ll make her way through the limelight of Hollywood without a problem.

“Rumer’s not only got the [acting] bug, Rumer’s successful — and she’s got a great head on her shoulders,” Bruce said. “[She] wasn’t raised in Los Angeles, so she knows the difference between the illusion of Hollywood and what real life is.”

Model Moms: From Stilettos To Strollers

By CelebrityBabyScoop.com

Ever wonder what it’s like to be a world famous model and a mom? Of course you have! Our friends at CelebrityBabyScoop spoke to some of the world’s most famous models who have traded in their stilettos for strollers and the catwalk for the playground and shared it with zulily. Turns out, they aren’t much different than us.

From Heidi Klum who has four children, to Cindy Crawford who is proud mom of two, to Brazilian beauty Gisele Bündchen who has two of her own and one stepson, let’s take a look at some of our favorite model moms.

image

Gisele Bündchen:

Brazilian beauty Gisele Bündchen is mom to son Benjamin, 3, daughter Vivienne, 3 months, and 5-year-old stepson Jack.

“We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel,” Gisele and her New England Patriots quarterback husband Tom Brady said after their daughter’s birth.

Cindy Crawford:

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber are parents to son Presley, 13, and Kaia, 11. And it seems Cindy’s kids have inherited mom’s stunning good looks.

At the age of 10, Kaia made her modeling debut for Young Versace. But according to her model mom, her little lookalike won’t be making a career of it any time soon.

“At this point, she’s too young to pursue a career,” Cindy said. “There aren’t even a handful of jobs for a 10-year-old girl. But if she’s 17 and wants to try it…of course, what can I say? She’s really into singing and acting. She kind of jokingly said—I’m not even sure if it was jokingly—‘I might model first because you don’t have to know how to do anything, but then I want to be a baby nurse.’”

Christy Turlington:

From the catwalk and magazine covers to healthcare advocate, Christy Turlington has made it her mission to raise awareness about maternal mortality worldwide. The former supermodel has since made the documentary, No Woman, No Cry, and she is the founder of Every Mother Counts.

Mom to daughter Grace, 9, and 6-year-old son Finn with husband Edward Burns, Christy opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about trading in her stilettos for charity work.

“My daughter is particularly proud that it was her coming into the world that changed the course of my life to the extent that it has,” said Christy of how her healthcare advocacy began. “My son is always just happy to have me when he has me, but he’s also very generous and doesn’t mind sharing.”

Alessandra Ambrosio:

Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio and her partner Jamie Mazur are parents to daughter Anja, 4, and son Noah, 10 months.

Walking in her model mama’s famous footsteps, Anja and Alessandra recently launched London Fog’s Spring 2013 campaign.

“Anja had a lot of fun, she loved all of her outfits,” Alessandra said. “She was really into the polka dot trench coat.”

Rebecca Romijn:

Blonde beauty Rebecca Romijn and her husband, actor Jerry O’Connell, are proud parents of 4-year-old daughters, Charlie and Dolly.

Rebecca has opened up about naming Dolly after her favorite singer, country superstar Dolly Parton, and Charlie was named after Jerry’s brother.

“Dolly is the one who looks like me and Charlie is the one who looks like Jerry,” Rebecca told Celebrity Baby Scoop.

“It just worked out that way,” she added. “When I was pregnant, I named them before I even met them. I could sense which one was which. It was funny, the second or third day I was in the hospital, I tried swapping their names and nobody could do it. It was set, it was in the stars.”

Milla Jovovich:

Model-actress Milla Jovovich and her husband, film director Paul W.S. Anderson, have one child: 5-year-old daughter Ever.

The Resident Evil star recently revealed her plans to spend more down-time with her darling daughter.

“Until now I have mostly worked. Since I was 16, I have travelled a lot, I’ve been to hundreds of places around the world, but if I were to say that I have seen something or that I remember where I went, I would be lying. Now I have made a pact with myself: I want to start travelling with my daughter Ever, and solely for pleasure, for vacation.”

Adriana Lima:

Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima and her NBA star husband, Marko Jarić, are parents to daughters Valentina, 3, and Sienna, 6 months.

“Marko and I are overjoyed to welcome Sienna into our family, and Valentina is looking forward to becoming a big sister,” Adriana said after Sienna’s birth.

Miranda Kerr:

Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr and her handsome hubby, actor Orlando Bloom, welcomed their first child, son Flynn, in January 2011.

Although the industry expects supermodels to regain their svelte figure immediately, Miranda said her first priority was breastfeeding her babe.

“I didn’t feel pressure to snap back into shape,” she said. “My priority was just having my son and breastfeeding, which was something I really wanted to do, and it came easily.”
