Bailey’s Q&A Style Tips: Holiday Christmas Card Edition

By Bailey Stuvland, The Bailey Daily
Q: What is an Inexpensive and Fun Idea for Family Holiday Christmas Cards?
A: A Family Christmas Pajama Photo! This holiday season is going to look a lot different. At least we can have a little bit of fun being cozy at home in the final days of 2020. I have some really cute ideas for you and your family to dress the from now until Christmas Day. It is also a perfect way for a fun holiday card or Instagram post!
I am a huge fan of matching family PJs (that even include the dog). So, go a little wild by grabbing a set (or two) this year. They will make your family laugh while you entertain yourselves at home. Doing the fun stuff like watching movies, baking holiday cookies, playing games, and even FaceTiming grandma.
They are such a great idea for a family holiday Christmas card photo! Matching jammies are such an easy, inexpensive way to wish your friends and family a happy holiday. No dressing up or hiring a professional required – just upload to social media and voila! Your holiday Christmas card is complete. All from the comfort of your own living room. Pro tip: try using a phone tripod, ring light and homemade décor to make that family self-portrait really pop. And if you’re doing an online card, even better! You can include multiple shots, including some outtakes and maybe a short video of everyone saying happy holidays.
The Holiday Shop has a ton of cute PJ options that you will want to check out. Modern versions have much more than the usual button-up sets: graphic tees with plaid flannel pants. Fun, footed bodysuits for the whole family and even more elegant and understated options can create some holiday spirit. You can even break away from traditional holiday imagery (winter, reindeers, Santa). Try creating a theme that is unique and special to your family. Themes like animals, a favorite color, or the hometown sports team. Oh, and don’t forget to add the slippers too!
