Small Business Spotlight

Small Business Spotlight

Having started just ten years ago as a ten-person Seattle start-up, Zulily knows and loves small local businesses. In the last decade, we’ve helped many companies grow up along with us. This spring, Zulily, in partnership with our sister brands QVC and HSN and the National Retail Federation Foundation, is working to lend a helping hand to small business owners facing unprecedented challenges. The Small Business Spotlight project enables us to showcase some of America’s finest small businesses.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors, Businesses Helping Businesses

We love reading stories of restaurants feeding frontline workers, musicians giving community concerts from their balconies, educators making the best of challenging online learning situations, and myriad small kindnesses shared between individuals. Let’s keep the joy rolling by introducing you to three creative, resilient small businesses that focus on style, sweetness and sustainability.

Marguerite Adzick founded Addison Bay, a dynamic fitness and fashion apparel company, when her first child was 3 months old. Now baby #2 is on the way! And the company still personally packs every order.

Family makes (business) life sweeter in Swampscott, MA

The Bacci family-run CB Stuffer makes peanut butter cups and many more stuffed-with-yummy chocolate giftables. Better still, they work to source ingredients from local suppliers and share proceeds with nonprofits including Girls Inc. and E4All.

By women and for women, in San Diego, CA

Vivacity Sportswear designs comfortable, sustainable separates in a wide range of sizes. Founder Vivian Sayward works to support minority businesswomen and collaborates with local designers, pattern makers and sewers.
