As comfort was one of the biggest trends we saw in 2020, many designers took note. So, if you’re not quite ready to switch out of your cozy slippers quite yet, you’re in luck. Many of the 2021 sneaker trends will still satisfy our need for comfort without compromising our sense of style. One noteworthy mention is that we will not be seeing a ton of high heels, tall boots or anything out of the ordinary. It’s nothing but but pure comfort. The good news is, all the loungewear you have been collecting over the last year, will pair perfectly with all the latest sneaker trends of 2021. We are still seeing many sneaker styles that were high fashion in year’s past; however, the difference is they are only going to continue to increase in popularity. On the other hand, many new styles have come about recently that will be exciting for the sneakerhead types. So let’s dive in and explore the top trending sneakers of 2021. Retro
Retro sport style sneakers topped the list here for a reason. This trend has been around for a minute and it’s not going to die down anytime soon either. We are also seeing this trend in super futuristic styles in sleek mesh styles and sock styles. Athletic trainers are made by a variety of well-known shoe brands such as Asics, Reebok and Brooks. So, your everyday gym or running shoe would work here. To complete this modern sporty look, pair with wide leg jeans, a black turtleneck and a blazer. This combo is a chic, fashion-forward, winning ensemble.
Chunky

Make sure your jeans expose just the right amount of your high-top, so you can really showcase your sneaker.
